Join us on Sunday, June 23rd for a joint service with South Perinton as we celebrate Reconciling Sunday. In January we voted to become a Reconciling Congregation, and we want to celebrate our commitment to full-inclusion of ALL God’s children. There will be special guests – friends and former pastors – who have helped us on our journey. We are happy to welcome JJ Warren back as our guest preacher. JJ just competed his undergraduate degree at Sarah Lawrence College and is touring the country sharing his message of God’s inclusive love with his “Forward Together” tour before he heads to seminary at Boston University School of Theology this fall. You may have seen JJ, a certified candidate for ministry in The United Methodist Church and a lay delegate to the special session of the General Conference, give his impassioned speech for inclusion and unity at the General Conference in February. Following the service, please join us for a fellowship brunch – bring a dish to share (please no peanuts or tree nuts as we are a nut-free facility).
