Reconciling Ministries Network mobilizes United Methodists of all sexual orientations and gender identities to transform our Church and world into the full expression of Christ’s inclusive love.
• Are we really a welcoming congregation?
• Are we an inclusive church where all are welcome?
• What is Reconciling Ministries and why would a United Methodist Church want to join this network?
All these questions and many more will be discussed on Saturday, September 26th where we will be joined by Reconciling Ministries process coaches Jami and Diana Breedlove Crouch. They attend St. Paul’s UMC in Ithaca where they are co-chairs of the Reconciling Ministry Team.
Join us at Macedon Center UMC (1160 Macedon Center Road, Rt. 31F, Macedon) – the church with the yellow steeple – for our Saturday informal 5:00 worship service. We will follow that with a light meal at 6:00 and then have a conversation/discussion with Jami and Diana. Everyone is encouraged to attend this informational event (please come to any or all of the 3 parts). Let’s not deny God’s love to any of His children and learn how to really be a welcoming congregation.
Jami and Diana Breedlove Crouch attend St. Paul’s UMC in Ithaca where they are co-chairs of the Reconciling Ministry Team. They are leaders of the Upper NY Reconciling Ministry Network Annual Conference where they host the RMN table each year and participate in sessions of the conference as an equalization member. Jami has served on the Human Sexuality Task Force for two years at the request of the Bishop. Jami and Diana volunteer as Process Coaches for Reconciling Ministry Network and enjoy attending worship with churches who are considering becoming an Inclusive Church.
